Radiation Sickness and EMF Sensitivity

Radiation Sickness, EMF Sensitivity, Electromagnetic Field Sensitivity, Electrical Sensitivity, Electro Hypersensitivity or EHS, or Microwave Sickness are a relatively new classification of health concerns caused by chronic exposure to wireless technology and other types of unseen "electronic smog" proliferating in our world today .

Radiation Sensitivity is an adverse health reaction that is caused by the microwave radiation emitted from cell phones, microwave or cell phone towers, radar, satellite etc. 

EMF Sensitivity is a similar adverse health reaction caused by other wireless types of "electronic pollution" not in the microwave frequency range, such as infrared, ultrasonic devices, Wifi, WiMax, GPS, RFID tags, computers, as well as wired types of "electromagnetic smog" such as power lines, and other electrical equipment.

The sensitivity  manifests itself through a wide variety of symptoms. These include most neurological illnesses and may affect one or more of the following systems: the brain, the central nervous system, the back, the eyes, the ears, and the heart. Certain groups, such as children, the elderly, and individuals with any illness or immune suppression are more likely to be affected by EMF exposures.

Unlike America, where the link between EMF exposure as it relates to health is often questioned or minimized, many European countries take EMF pollution to very seriously and have developed specific medical treatment protocols which deal with Radiation Sickness and EMF related illnesses.  Austria has a particularly strict health code regarding EMF exposure and its clinical treatment.

Scientific studies are discovering that humans are effected by radiation, magnetism and electrical fields at much lower levels than previously thought, showing that not only are we are sensitive to the EMF fields emitted from power lines at a distance but also to the EMF radiation emitted from wireless devices that are on us, or near us. 

Among wireless culprits cellphones (and cell towers) have become the most ubiquitous and inescapable source of chronic low level microwave radiation exposure, although the personal use of cellphone radiation sickness protection products are on the rise thanks to rising consumer awareness.
